Motori 2.0 TFSI gjeneron 155 kw (211 kf) dhe ka një forcë tërheqëse mbresëlënëse. Përdredhja maksimale prej 350 Nm arrihet për një shpejtësi prej vetëm 1,500 rpm. Ky motor është gjithashtu i pajisur me sistemin e valvulave Audi. Ky sistem fleksibël i llogaritjes së kohës së valvulave jo vetëm redukton konsumin e karburantit por e bën udhëtimin edhe më emocionues.

The A4 Avant 2.0 TFSI flexible fuel

There is a particularly economical version of the Audi A4 Avant in the shape of the A4 Avant 2.0 TFSI flexible fuel, which is also suitable for running on bioethanol. This fuel, designated E85, lowers operating costs and features a good CO2 balance. The 2.0 TFSI flexible fuel engine is based on the 2.0 TFSI with Audi valvelift and start-stop system. Like that engine, it develops 320 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 4,200 rpm and achieves a power output of 132 kW (180 bhp). The engine can run on fuel with any concentration up to 85 percent ethanol in the petrol, with no noticeable differences in drivability or performance. Running on E85, the ultramodern four-cylinder engine in the A4 Avant achieves fuel consumption of 9.2 l/100 km (quattro®: 10.6 l/100 km), and 6.6 l/100 km (quattro®: 7.5 l/100 km) on premium-grade petrol. Because taxes on ethanol are significantly lower than on fossil fuels, however, its use reduces operating costs.
